PWN is in the Indy state, but with Mister Bartholomew Kennedy investing PWN, he wants to make the show go big and make tons of cash. But, DeMarco doesn't really agree with his intentions. I would like the Pureueo wrestle to remain, but once the business picks up I would like to to see it hit big.
What are your thoughts?

There are too many samey promotions these days. Wrestling has become like British politics. The originaility and diversity is gone. Instead we have the same crap forced down our throats each and every week. I think it's great to see an Indy fed with a bright future providing great puro wrestling as opposed to the cringe-worthy 'sports entertainment' we see in most federations. Novella is a different breed and it's refreshing to see. I understand Kennedy's wishes to see Novella succeed but I don't want to see any major changes. Novella was created to provide a puro-based alternative to the norm - I wouldn't want to see that change.

In all honesty, keep it indy. I mean, some of the people on the roster have already made it big (see Steve Storme) so its not as if I feel bad for them not getting rich. Maybe I am being greedy, but I enjoy having a smaller promotion with great talent, more then a big and boring one, kind of like my music.
I love pureo wrestling, I like some of the Japanese ultraviolet that’s rumoured to come every now and then, I love the Mexican style of Lucha Libre, I love hard style. These are things that embody Indy wrestling, and are rarities in the “big time” mainstream promotions. And if NOVELLA went big time, I feel as thought a lot of it would be sacrificed, simply because of the demographic.
To get famous in this art (OR BIG) one needs to view the demography, which is divided into three divisions. 1- Children, 2- Teens/Young Adults, 3- Older Adults. The pureo style of wrestling is embraced by teens and young adults, and these are typically the crowds that make up indy feds. Then you have the children… See WWE & TNA. Then, you of course have older adults, the one’s whom grew up watching and loving WCW and WWF. The former and latter (kids - older) are the primary buyer because they both typically invest in the same style and together they make a larger number then the teens. The style they watch is Mainstream wrestling. So if Kennedy wanted to make NOVELLA go big time he would need to get rid of the pure wrestling and add in your typical John Cena vs. Batista style. Otherwise, NOVELLA couldn’t get bigger. Thus, bigger means boring.
As well, if we look back at ECW’s journey into the big times, they got on TV, and then came the time limits. The time limits are what started the restrictions, as everything felt crammed together, trying to fit into the TV timeslot. The exact same thing is what happened to/is happening to, ROH. They can’t havve their four hour events any more, now they have one hour. Its like having Between the Buried and Me be an opening band, they could get maybe one or two songs in.
In all honesty, staying indy is for the best no doubt. Give us an alternative to this DXX and OWW shit!

Well, thats not true. You could always keep the Indy style wrestling and still have a big promotion. Take TNA for instants, they hit it pretty big and the talent still remains pretty raw. Its the fact it this will only take place once 2-3 times a week. If the roster gets to big, it may cause the superstars to get bored, and may think they aren't getting enough credit and recognition.
Though I think Kennedy's intentions are to be more recognizable and take the business to a bigger level. Make it more organized then an Indy federation even though it contains some of the best pure wrestling out there. The time limits don't mean anything, as long as the wrestlers go out there and do their thing the way they want to within 20 minutes (unless stipulations are different) I would imagine it would work out perfectly. Though you still make a point, if it does get the point of being huge, the wrestling may become more mainstream and predictable, because us Indy fans like unpredictable wrestling, but I am just saying, I would like the business to be more recognizable in the future while still have the pure wrestling along with it.

I reckon that PWN will be getting big in no time. Since, that Bart guy is actually doing some shit to help. I will be looking forward to seeing PWN go big such as World Wrestling Entertainment.

I've been in the efed shindig for so many feds that have since closed. So many feds want to make it to the big time without being prepared for the ramifications of doing so. Going big can lift us to new heights perhaps, but as was the case in the original ECW it can be the phoenix that drags us under before we even lift off. If we can get many people say about the same number as DXX, or even CGS then I say lets go big, to go big right away I feel would be a detriment to this fed.

"I would love for PWN to go big and compete with the higher-up federations. However, once a company makes it big, those fucking smarks jump all over it like they're doing something wrong. If we happen to put on a better show than, say, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla as a big time promotion, then nobody will care. Indy gets more respect, even if they aren't the ones putting on a better overall product. I know that with the roster already signed up for PWN, money is no object. They will continue to come in and wrestler for the fans, because that is what they love to do. And they will do the same thing if they go big. So by all means, Bartholomew, make PWN go big! And we'll handle those fucking smarks..."

Getting a National TV deal outta get some money. The PWN wrestlers don't have too be spot monkies like those in WWE or TNA, but why not make some money while keeping up a pure style of wrestling?
