If you want you can explain why you chose to follow the straight-edge lifestyle - or why you chose not to. Personally I'm not sXe. I don't take drugs but I do drink alcohol. The reason is I feel it enhances the experience at parties and things like that.

never thought "i wanna be sXe" or "i dont wanna be sXe" though ... i drink alcohol (not much, tbh, but i do) and dont want to just have sex after marriage (although if the girl wants it to be that way, then okay) ..... i never tried drugs, not even weed, and dont intend to ....

i respect straightedgers though, as i think lots of power of will is necessary and that's cool ..

I don't actually drink (well about twice a year)
But it's that sex thing that gets me, I am quite sexually active (no surprise since I'm from the North East of England and apparently we breed like rabbits up here) and so I've kind of failed at that already.

I would be "sXe" but I think I've already failed at it so, fuck it.

I'm not. I feel you can drink in moderation and not go freaking crazy and if you're ready to have sex, it's alright to do it without being a whore. The drug thing I just don't do, like most.

I don't do drugs or drink because well, first, I play basketball. I am in line to be playing for my cities' best High School due to Spectators and Scouts at my Community bball tournaments. Plus, I wanna play bball in college.

Yes, I am. I never felt the need to drink or do drugs. They hinder your abilities and ultimately destroy brain cells. It's stupid, honestly. I don't how "good" it feels at the time; in time, being diseased from it won't feel nearly as "good" as it did before. I just don't see the point in substances, weed, or alcohol.

I find it funny how some people think once you think you done drugs it kills all your brain cells and makes you go stupid. Though, I am not saying you should do drugs or drink, it takes time and the overuse of drugs for that kind of effect to take place.

Yes, the overuse. And doing it once...well, drugs and such are addictive. Doing it once is the gateway to addiction. And addiction will kill you and that's what the people using the drugs thrive on soon enough. It's all the same.

I'm can proudly say that i'm straight edge even though people tend to think that i drink because my friends all do lol. Only downside to being straight edge is that since im the only sober one at most of the parties i end up having to spend the end of the parties taking people home lol
