“Emmanuel… Jackson? Who’s that?” Shannon Westley asked his dad, looking at the match card for the next event. William Westley looked at his watch impatiently, and tapped his foot.
“Shannon, c’mon. I’ve arranged an interview for us with Jesse Penn from ‘Wrestling Globe’ magazine.”
“He’s a douche.” Shannon said, trying to remember who Jesse Penn was.
“Shannon, every reporter in the universe is a douche.”
“Fine, but if he asks me about my love life I’ll kick his teeth down his throat.”
“Jesse Penn is a girl.”
“… Offer still stands.”
William sighed and shook his head. “If you’re going to be stubborn and not go and meet her, I’ll take her here.”
“No, I haven’t cleaned my room!” Shannon exclaimed.
“Better hurry then.” William smirked, and walked out of the room.

Later.
“Hi, I’m Jesse Penn, here now with Shannon and William Westley, in Shannon’s room – which is surprisingly clean, might I add.”
“Yeah… Clean.” Shannon fumbled, his eyes darting to the closet, which was bulging with from all the stuff he carelessly tossed inside it. William glanced at the closet, but said nothing.
“Well, Shannon, first things first, hows the life of a professional wrestler?”
William and Shannon exchanged glances. “It’s good.” Shannon said after a long pause. William facepalmed.
“Shannon’s not really much of a public speaker. What he means is that being a professional wrestler is one of the greatest things ever. The rush of adrenaline, the cheers of the fans, it’s the greatest feeling in the world.” William explained.
“What he said.” Shannon muttered, jerking a thumb in William’s direction while Jesse wrote down something on her notebook.
“Okay, next question: Who is your hero? The man who inspired you to become a pro wrestler in the first place?”
“Chris Ben-” Shannon cut himself off, startled by his dad’s death glare. “Erm, I mean William Westley. My dad, yeah.”
Jesse nodded. “Wonderful, now next card you will be teaming with Patrick Bateman to take the challenge of E-man and Ryan Black.”
“Who?”
“Haha, what a jokester. So Shannon, remembering that Bateman kicked your ass in your debut match, what led you to team with him?”
Shannon paused. Then, “I wouldn’t exactly call us a team, no we just have a common goal. To make a name for ourselves. And Bateman scares me, I’m not afraid to say it, he scares the shit out of me. But he’s on a roll lately. Beat three men, and he’s only had two matches. That shows that, like him or not, he’s a hell of a competitor. I’m glad he’s on my side for now.”
“And your opinions on E-Man & Ryan Black?”
“Who?”
“Nevermind.” Jesse sighed, and looked at her notepad. “That’s all the questions I have for you, so it looks like this interview’s over.”
“Thank fuck for that.”
“Any closing comments?”
“I just hope Bateman doesn’t accidentally rip my head off while he’s destroying B-Man and Jack Black.”
