Post by day fell short this time [kk] on Jan 15, 2010 10:25:27 GMT -5
Have something to do so I'll just be posting the rp as it is, unfinished but meh it makes sense imo in the end. If I happen to have the time later, I'll write another rp as best as I can to make up for this incompitance (: P) which includes what I was gonna make happen in the rest of this rp.
I'm trying a new approach for my character, sorry if the German is not accurate I'm still learning the language and about three quarters of the German I wrote in this rp is from a translator and the other quarter from my self teaching, so I apologise in advance =p

scene 2 ,, stuttgart, germany,, 02/01/10 ,, 2:37pm
Kevin Kompiler is in his original hometown untill the age of 4, Stuttgart, in Germany. After a heavy new year of which he has recovered, he is walking up a set of appartment stairs with car keys rattling in tune along his eyes as he stomps up the staircase. He is wearing a white beanie hat, a black jacket, some dark blue jeans and a pair of grey pumps, basic street attire for the young PWN Superstar, who is set to travel to Philadelphia early in the morning, around twelve hours from the current moment in time. He reaches out to bang on the appartment door of which he reaches, he doesn't knock, he bangs with the side of his fist. The blue door almost collapses it is that shabby, from inside you hear a distinctly in pain voice groan as you hear the creaking of a bed. From within the tiny and rubbish filled room, opening the door stands Hans Werbler, Kevin Kompiler's brother, and the only of his brothers he still keeps in touch with. Hans is standing afront his well dressed brother wearing a white tank top on boxer shorts, he speaks to his brother, whilst rubbing his head from the heavy hangover he is and has been suffering for the past 2 days since New Years Eve.
hans werbler: Was sie wünschen? Ist es zu früh. (What do you want? It's way too early)
I've always had respect for my younger brother, he's two years younger than me, meaning Hans is only twenty years old, he was my only brother who stood by me when everything went so wrong for me. He still sticks by me now, although he sometimes takes a little encouragement, I guess that's what brothers are for; he keeps me sane and I keep him from choking on his own vomit in his drunken sleeps. He's my best friend, there's no other way to put it, and like everyone else, I treat him the way he treats me, and he treats me with respect, well, sometimes. I'd always told him about my dislike for the German language, I can't seem to get the accent right, English the other hand I have a fluent accent in, I seem more like an English German then a German English, but that isn't that bad I suppose since I do now live and work in America.
kevin kompiler: Es ist fast drei am nachmittag sie idiot, erhält gekleidet uns muss schnell gehen und spricht Englisch für Gottgrund. (It's nearly three in the afternoon you idiot, get dressed we need to go... and speak English for gods sake.)
Hans stands for a few moments, still not so sure of what is going on, he then speaks in his distinctly German English accent.
hans werbler: Okay one minute I'll put something on man, mein Gott.
Before Kevin Kompiler can even speak a word or compliment how Hans' English is coming along, the door is slammed in his face, untill about ten minutes later (nine minutes later than stated) the door swings open. Hans storms out of the door, he still looks rough though, his hair is all messed up and he is wearing a blue top and grey jogger bottoms with a white pair of trainers, basically he wore what he found on the floor. Hans then began to stumble down the stairs, shortly followed by a sighing Kevin Kompiler, who only does and knows best for his younger brother.

scene 3 ,, stuttgart, germany ,, 02/01/10 ,, 3:01pm
The scene opens showing Kevin Kompiler and his younger brother Hans Werbler climbing into a taxi, Hans, being the immature one, climbs in the front seat leaving Kevin Kompiler to sit in the back, this doesn't bother him as much as it would of done four years ago, but still, it is a little irritating for him.
taxi driver: Wo zu meinen freunden? (Where to my friend?)
The taxi driver aims this question to Hans, who is staring senselessly out of the front window and doesn't even acknowledge that someone is speaking to him, Kevin Kompiler, despise his dislike for German, does his brother's easy work for him.
kevin kompiler: Das Südwestrundfunk hat bitte hauptsitz. (The Southwestern Broadcasting headquarters please.)
The taxi driver sets off, as Hans lifts his head which is close to hitting the dashboard of the car and turns to look at his older brother.
hans werbler: Sudweststrundfunk? What are you going there for?
Kevin Kompiler lays back with his hands behind his head in an egotistical manor, almost bragging to his brother with his words.
kevin kompiler: Well there just happens to be a Pro Wrestling Novella interviewer, in Stuttgart who just happens to be in the Sudweststrundfunk headquarters in an interview room, waiting for any certain PWN wrestler to drop in, and I guess since I'm the only PWN wrestler here, I might aswell drop in and have a little chat.
The taxi driver is trying to listen in on the conversation, but not understanding a single word of English, he can't possibly do that. Hans just laughs, turns and shakes his head at the same time from listening to what Kevin Kompiler just told him, he is not jealous of his brother, he is actually opposite, he prefers the life he leads, hanging about his brother and getting all the benefits from it, not in a way of which he uses his brother, but they're basically all eachother have when they are in America.
I never really liked taxi drivers, but I guess they can't help but to want to listen in on your conversations, after all it must be a bit boring for those guys driving around to probably the most uninteresting places in their areas, you can't really blame them I guess. But when I'm in America talking in German in taxis is one of my exceptions, because they don't know what the hell you're talking about, the same way speaking English in a German taxi confuses them, it's a bit of a bold tactic but hey, anything to keep my privacy between me and the person I'm talking to, not random strangers with dodgy hair and soveriegn jewellery.

scene 3 ,, sudweststrundfunk headquarters ,, 02/01/10 ,, 3:37pm
The scene opens showing Kevin Kompiler and his brother Hans Werbler walking through the automatically opening doors to the front entrance of the Sudweststrundfunk building, Hans makes himself comfortable in one of the waiting area, basically jumping onto the sofa next to a typical German business man, who gives the rough looking man next to him a bit of a funny look before returning to read his newspaper. Kevin Kompiler walks up to the reception and is adressed by the secretary sitting behind the desk.
secretary: Willkommen zu Südwestrundfunk, haben sie eine anmeldung? (Welcome to Sudweststrundfunk, do you have a booking?)
kevin kompiler: Umm, ja, interviewraum… sieben, die ich denke, mein name ist Kevin Werbler. (Umm, yeah, interview room... seven, I think, my name is Kevin Werbler.)
I hardly used my real name much, I tell everyone my name is Kevin Kompiler, but that's just my stage name. It turns out you aren't allowed to use that on documents and booking on this occasion, I didn't enjoy saying my name was Kevin Werbler though, it reminded me too much of my Dad, and it's not nice being reminded how much you miss someone when they're gone. But I'm strong I can cope, it's only a last name after all, and I share it with seven brothers, of only one is not a complete prick, and my mother. I'm used to the typecasting though and I don't mind it, I like being recognised, even if by a stage name.
The secretary looks at a sheet of paper before verifying with Kevin Kompiler.
secretary: Ja hier sind sie, gehen nach rechts an durch. (Yes here you are, go right on through.)
kevin kompiler: Danke, hey Hans get off your arse, come on we're going.
Hans groans, and looks upwards at hearing this news which causes him dismay, he almost hits the business man sat next to him who has to dodge his arm to keep from getting a nice black eye, he shakes his head as Hans gets up from the sofa, the man sighs in relief as Hans catches up to Kevin Kompiler who has already set off down the corridor and called for the lift. The lift comes and Kevin Kompiler has to hold the lift for Hans who only just gets to it before Kevin gets impatient and leaves him behind, the doors as Kevin Kompiler presses the button to call for the seventh floor. The lift eventually gets there and the doors open into another corridor, Kevin Kompiler and Hans step out and look both ways, untill Kevin Kompiler catches eye of room seven and begins to walk towards it. He gets to the door and turns to his brother Hans before talking to him.
kevin kompiler: Okay, Hans, much to your pleasing you can't come in so you can just sit on that sofa over there and... well just be you but don't break anything for fuck's sake.
The two share a laugh as Kevin Kompiler steps into the interview where all the recording interviewer and the PWN interviewer are just there waiting for him.

scene 3 ,, sudweststrundfunk headquarters ,, 02/01/10 ,, 3:54pm
The scene opens showing Kevin Kompiler standing alongside a temporary part time PWN interviewer called Thomas Fletcher. The two stand as the cameraman gives them the thumbs up to start the interview.
thomas fletcher: I'm standing here with Kevin Kompiler, the man who has jumped down from being a big star on big wrestling companies, to a newcoming wrestling federation, or as we like to be known, Pro Wrestling Novella. So Kevin, my first question is, why choose to do this, what with the wage cuts and the fact that people will see you as the person to beat in PWN?
Wow, I can't believe it, I've been asked this same question so many times and I didn't think the interviewer would need a fucking answer for this stupid question I've answered so many times now, does he not know about the internet? Idiot. But anyway, I'd been asked nearlly every question under the sun already so most things he asks I'm going to have an answer to, I really doubt he's got a unique bone in him and he's not going to ask me an original question out of the blue. I mean come on, look at the guy, he thinks he's the shit, when the fact is he is shit. Ugh, well I guess I'm being hasty, I just hate the common, average guy I guess.
kevin kompiler: *Sigh* Well, as I have said many many times before to SO many people, I made the jump down to Pro Wrestling Novella because I think in a couple of years time PWN will be one of the best companies for wrestling in the world, and I hope to spearhead that by becoming the World Champion here on PWN.
thomas fletcher: Very good, and you talk about the World Championship, do you think you can achieve this goal and become PWN's first ever World Champion. Of course, first you will have to advance by defeating Pence Weatherlight, what do you know and think about your opponent?
kevin kompiler: Well, of course I never expect my matches to be easy, but come on, this has to be one of my easiest match up in my career. I've defeated the best wrestlers in the world, held the best championship belts and proven myself as one of the best, and this kid has no chance against me. I am superior to him and any other silly little retard who likes to jump around the canvas like a fucking fish when I kick his teeth down his throat.
thomas fletcher: Wow, some pretty strong words there and you are known for being a very honest and open person, and known for letting your actions speak for your words. So my next question is, what are your in ring tactics going to be like on Pro Wrestling Novella? Are they going to be simalur to your style of wrestling in other promotions or are you going to take on a new style for a new start?
Holy shit, I can't believe it, this guys actually asked me a sophisticated, original and well thought out question that I haven't been asked repeatadly over and over or at all for that matter, maybe I was wrong about this guy and maybe I shouldn't jump to conclusions as much as I tend to. But ah well, I don't give a fuck, these people are nobody.
kevin kompiler: Well, I'm not going to tell you my tactics, because you know what dirty scum like Pence Weatherlight are like, they'll just listen in on what I'm saying and try make it work against me by preparing for it, you know, cheat. But the style you should expect from me is a little simular to the one you've seen from me before, but expect a little more... high flying action from me, if that's how I should put it.
thomas fletcher: Good, good. Final question, Kevin, about the obligations of a rumoured injury to your left leg, are these rumours true or they just false rumours.
kevin kompiler: False rumours Tom, is it alright if I call you Tom yeah? False rumours, it's actually my right leg you see.
Thomas Fletcher sees the funny side of this and begins to laugh, before Kevin Kompiler begins to talk on about his suspected injury.
kevin kompiler: As I was saying, I suffered a little knock to my right leg playing football, it's no big deal or anything really worth talking about, it's fine.
thomas fletcher: Well thank you, or danke, should I see for your time, because I understand you need to get to the airport and get on over to Philadelphia to prepare for the show so I'll leave you too it.
The scene fades as Kevin Kompiler grins arrogantly and begins to walk out of the interview room.

scene 1 ,, prologue
The formation of Pro Wrestling Novella, or PWN for an abbreviation, means alot of new chances for alot of young superstars but also it means a new start for already glorified and noted superstar Kevin Kompiler. Kevin Kompiler comes from a purely tough family. Half German and half English, born into a family with seven brothers, he could only learn to fend for himself to survive. When he was 13 he was arrested for theft and beating an innocent shopkeeper senseless in Leeds, he was sent to Juvenile Hall untill his release at the age of 16. Kevin Kompiler then left the country after going into University for a fresh start, he already had the benefit of being multi lingual and because of this he was accepted. After getting his degrees he left England for America across the Atlantic Ocean for a completely fresh start, it is said that he has never returned back to England, but only to Germany, where his father was buried after he was mysteriously murdered four days after Kevin Kompiler had left the country.
With the death of his father and a now completely fresh start in his life at the age of 19 Kevin Kompiler needed to make money, he definatley had the qualifications to be a success, but for now he needed a little starter money. Since he had a worthy physique he decided he should make the money the way alot of young potential people had in America, by wrestling. It was then found that Kevin Kompiler really had the lip for this, but also had the skill for it, and it was before he was before all the big names.
After alot of successful runs at major wrestling companies and even a World Championship run at one at the age of 19, he then spiralled as a two year run of just beating jobbers he decided he needed to find a new promotion, one with potential just like him, and when he saw Pro Wresling Novella tryouts he knew he would be a shoe in for a job. So here he is, at Pro Wrestling Novella and ready in his words, to 'Stoß einige arsch'.
