Signature Moves:
Pinning:
Name: The Reload
Description: Pence Weatherlight usually doesn't get technical with his wrestling, but when the need arrives he can do it with the best of them. The Reload is a weapon Pence has been training to use for some time now if he can't win by normal pinning means. Similar to a Bridging Suplex.
Top Turnbuckle:
Name: The People's Plea
Description: Pence Weatherlight doesn't like to fly, it is against his nature, and as such Pence doesn't do it often. However, since Pence's match against Biggs at Christmas Chaos, Pence began to develop a long list of new techniques to add to his repitore. Among them the least he favored was the People's Plea, a technique that would have him throw caution to the wind, and take flight. Pence does not usually use this move and avoids using it like the plague, but is has been proven to be devastating to the people he has been training with. Similar to a Flying Elbow Drop.
Standing:
Name: The Reaper's Will
Description: Oddly enough this very technique sealed the win for Pence Weatherlight at Christmas Chaos even when it was only in the beginning phases of being worked on. Pence loves the Reaper's Will, it his bread, and butter ever since he won the Overdrive title the proof is in the constant training that Pence is putting into it. He now no longer cares wether he is standing or on the top turnbuckle to use this technique because he has learned that it can be devastating from the top turnbuckle and painful from a standing position. Similar to the Green Bay Plunge.
Submission:
Name: The Soul Destroyer
Description: Pence's belief in raw power during 2009 was quickly replaced by a sense of wearing the opponent down with power and technical skills. Much to his surprise, Pence began to develop an interesting submission maneuver that he could use against opponents. The Soul Destroyer is Pence's belief in raw power combined with technical talent, the combination is frightening. Pence has choked out ten men already with the technique and has plans to use this move frequently in his matches. Similar to a Rear Naked Choke.
Counter:
Name: Battle Testimony
Description: Pence's old number one finisher has taken a sort of back seat to Pence's Heavy Artillery technique, but is still a good move to utilize in the majority of matches. Pence uses this move more and more to counter the finishers of his opponent, especially high fliers, he views this technique to be a flyer bane, and so far this has been proven true. Pence usually bounces the opponent off the rope and on the way back lifts them up and then slams them down to the mat below. This move is usually a set up for the Heavy Artillery as well in a singles match. Similar to a normal Spine Buster.
Primary Finisher Name: Heavy Artillery
Description: The Heavy Artillery is the Ace in Pence's deck of skills, it is a devastating finisher that is used when an opponent is just getting up from a move that has knocked him to the mat (which is most of Pence's techniques). Pence runs up to his foe and wraps either of his arms around his shoulder and then with a quick move he lifts him up and slams him down at full force. Pence usually goes for a pin after performing this move, but Pence varies on this depending on the type of match. Similar to the Rock Bottom.
Secondary Finisher Name: Light's Essence
Description: Along side a new group of signature techniques, Pence began to develop a brand new finisher while quickly pushing the Battle Testimony into a Signature type setting while using the new technique as a finisher. Pence's belief in Raw Power was key to him, but also Pence loved surprise, and over the past year Pence had been trying to find a way to speed up his combat moves. After over a year, Pence finally developed the perfect blend of surprise, speed, and strength to create a technique that would devastate his opponent, and could also be used to stun his opponent so that he could use it with the Heavy Artillery. The Light's Essence, a back stabber to the face, became Pence's go to move, but didn't have enough power behind it to usurp his opponent. Pence trained and trained so that he could do it in a split second and practiced it till he could do it in his sleep. Pence is ready to unveil his new finisher now, proud of what it has become, and looking forward to showing it off. Similar to the Code Breaker.
[ Musical Exterior ]
Theme Song: "Everything" by Pillar
Entrance: The Titantron bursts to static as the lights all dim down and begin to flash different colors at random, the fans turn their eyes to the entrance ramp, as all the light go out. A voice comes out over the speakers saying "Baby don't fear the Reaper." and then the lights come on. "Everything" by Pillar hits the speakers now and the lights begin to flicker red, white, and blue. The fans all begin to cheer as Pence emerges on to the Entrance ramp wearing a red, white, and blue vest with a pair of black and blue shorts, he salutes the fans who all begin to chant "Mr. Main Event". Pence makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands, and taking poses so that the fans can take pictures of him. He finally makes it into the ring and then jumps up on to one of the turnbuckles and flexes. He then jumps down and repeats the process on the opposite sides turnbuckle, before finally jumping down, and going to the middle, he begins to pace looking at the entrance ramp, awaiting his opponent.
Championship Entrance: The Titantron bursts to static as the lights all dim down and begin to flash different colors at random, the fans turn their eyes to the entrance ramp, as all the light go out. A voice comes out over the speakers saying "Baby don't fear the Reaper." and then the lights come on. "Everything" by Pillar hits the speakers now and the lights begin to flicker red, white, and blue. Pence walks out on to the entrance ramp holding his championship belt over his shoulder and he stops at the top and looks out around the arena. The fans all begin to chant "Mr. Main Event" and he slowly brings his hand up for a salute, but halfway there he jerks it up, and two blue pyros explode beside the ramp. He then starts to walk down the ramp, slapping hands, and taking pictures with fans. He gets inside the ring and look around at everyone who is watching him and then he nods his head as he unslings the championship belt from his shoulder. He then lifts up the belt above his head with both hands and all four turnbuckles explode with blue pyrotechnics from the top. Pence then puts the belt back on his shoulder and turns to the ref, handing him the belt, and then he gazes over to the entrance ramp. He kneels down and keeps an eye on the ramp the whole time, waiting for his opponent to show him or herself.
